ECS Techs will: Check for anti-virus and anti-Spyware software, ensuring that they’re up to date and that a firewall is in use, check for current Windows patches & updates, check for file-sharing programs, which kids often use to download and share music. Unfortunately, this violates copyright law, and you could be liable for any illegal actions not to mention the threat exposure to your system. Your information and data could be in a shared location, meaning others can access it through these programs.

ECS Techs will: Ensure your system in running properly, get you connected to the Internet, install printer(s), software, transfer data from old system (if needed) & perform a Security Check to ensure your computer is protected and updated.

Add Device to Existing Network

ECS Techs will arrive to your location and setup a single device to an existing wired/wireless network. Examples include: Computer, Access point, Print server, Range extender, Xbox, Play station, Wii. Hardware or software is not included.

Share the Internet, printers, and files from anywhere in your home with a secure ECS Techs -installed wireless network. ECS Techs will come to your home and set up your home network for fast and easy multitasking.

One Time Data Backup / Transfer (CD/DVD, Ext Device)

Save secure copies of your computer's files in case of a severe crash. ECS Techs will copy up to 40 GB of your important data to your external hard drive. (Unlimited backup available, ask ECS Techs for details.)

Restore CD Creation

Did you know most new PCs come with the restore copy of your new system on the hard drive? Take the fuss out of creating a restore disk. ECS Techs can take the trouble out of the process and create a restore CD for you.

Operating System Install

ECS Techs can install the version of Microsoft® Windows that best suits you and your computer, as well as all critical updates. Software licenses not included.

Hardware Install (upgrade/service)

ECS Techs are ready to install any one PC compatible internal or external hardware device onto your desktop or laptop. Examples include: Graphic/video card memory, hard drive or CD ROM or DVD drive. Hardware is not included.

Family Security Configuration (Windows Vistaâ„¢ only)

Although Vista comes with built-in parental control software, we’ll make sure that it’s set up and running for maximum online protection. ECS Techs will: Set up user accounts, configure Internet security, game ratings, and time-of-use parameters, block any specific Internet sites that you don’t want children to access & clean up your hard drive.

Premium Vista Configuration

ECS Techs will: Set up user accounts, configure Internet security, game ratings, time of use parameters, block specific Internet suits to protect your children, adjust your computer's system settings for a faster and smoother performance, update your PC with the most recent updates to guard against security threats, clean up your hard drive, configure up to 5 gadgets, clean up your desktop (icons) and remove trial software, answer your Vista questions, demonstrate basic navigation, show key features such as gadgets, Aero, Ready boost, data backup and search & customize your Vista settings for you.
